We're delighted to announce that Etcho has been named Best Sustainable Investment Research and Ratings Provider at the Investment Week Sustainable Investment Awards 2026. The winners were announced at a ceremony in London on 24 September, in the awards' 20th year.

We were shortlisted in two categories, Research and Ratings Provider and Technology and Support Services Provider, alongside some of the most established names in sustainability data.

Rethinking sustainable investing

Sustainable investing has traditionally relied on broad classifications, standardised ratings and pre-packaged investment products. But what sustainability means to one investor can be completely different to another.

At Etcho, we believe investors should have the ability to express their individual preferences and see those reflected in their investments.

Etcho brings together sustainability research, client profiling and personalised portfolio construction, enabling financial advisers to translate individual values and preferences into tailored investment portfolios.

Rather than asking clients to fit into an existing investment product, we enable portfolios to be built around them.

A vision recognised

Commenting on the award, Etcho co-founder Charlie French said:

"Sustainable investing has a personalisation problem. What sustainability means to one person can be completely different to another, yet the industry has spent years trying to fit everyone into the same products, ratings and definitions.

We believe the future is personal. Giving people the ability to understand investments through their own lens, and then turn that research directly into a portfolio that reflects their individual preferences, is a huge step forward. It's brilliant to have our vision recognised with this award, particularly as we're already putting it into practice."

From research to real portfolios

Etcho enables investment managers to deliver personalised portfolios at scale, combining individual client preferences with investment objectives, risk considerations and cost efficiency.

By bringing sustainability research, portfolio construction and ongoing monitoring together in one tool, investment managers can offer advisers and their clients a genuinely personalised alternative to traditional model portfolios.

A huge thank you to Investment Week, the judges and everyone who has supported Etcho along the way.
